About The Position

Eastern Michigan University’s GameAbove College of Engineering and Technology has several Visiting Faculty positions in engineering technology and construction management to deliver programs in the People’s Republic of China. Each position is a 12-month appointment at 100% appointment percentage.

Selected candidates will teach undergraduate courses, hold weekly scheduled office hours, and advise students. They will contribute to service activities, including supporting assessment and accreditation, participate in student recruitment, registration, orientation, convocations, and commencements, and attend scheduled departmental meetings and functions. The role also includes conducting research at EMU, providing assessment reports, and supporting accreditation and other program-related activities.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Mechanical, Computer, or Product Design Engineering; engineering technology; or construction management. Candidates in closely related fields will be considered.
• Candidates with a master’s degree and significant industrial experience will also be considered.

• College-level teaching experience and/or industrial experience.
