About The Position
The School of Business at the University of Mount Union invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor. The School of Business at the University of Mount Union is comprised of undergraduate majors in accounting, finance, management, marketing, and sport business. Additionally, it offers minors in accounting, business administration, economics, entrepreneurship, leadership studies, marketing, and sport business. The School of Business offers a breadth of knowledge and career specific study through a robust curriculum and experiential learning opportunities. Undergraduate programs currently offered in the School of Business are accredited through the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners and the Commission on Sport Management Accreditation (COSMA). The school also offers an online MBA program with several concentrations.
Requirements
- An earned doctorate in business, or closely related discipline.
- Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging.

- ABD may be considered at the designation of Visiting Professor.
Responsibilities
- Teaching a variety of undergraduate business courses including Introduction to Business, Business Communication, Sales Management, and Legal and Ethical Issues of Business.
- Serve as an advisor and mentor for undergraduate majors.
- Support students in research.
- Participate in research and service activities within the School of Business, the University, and the community.
