About The Position

Wilkes University's Department of Biology and Earth System Sciences has an opening for a Visiting Instructor of Biology beginning in August 2026 through May 2027. The successful candidate will support the department through instruction in biology-related coursework and contribute to the academic mission of the University. This non-tenure-track visiting position is a full-time faculty appointment within the Biology and Earth System Sciences department. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. Wilkes University is an independent, comprehensive university dedicated to academic excellence in the liberal arts, sciences, and selected professional programs. The University has approximately 2,000 students at the undergraduate level and over 1,500 full time equivalent students at the graduate and first professional levels.
