About The Position

Wilkes University's Department of Biology and Earth Systems Sciences is seeking a one-year visiting assistant professor for the 2026-27 academic year. This role involves teaching introductory biology courses and an upper-level course in the candidate's specialty, as well as mentoring undergraduate students in research. Requirements

  • PhD in animal behavior, evolution, or a related field.
  • Teaching experience in both introductory and advanced courses at the college level.
  • Ability to mentor undergraduate students in research.
