About The Position
The Mathematics Department, in the Meditz College of Arts and Sciences at Fairfield University, invites applications for a one-year visiting position in Mathematics at the rank of Instructor or Assistant Professor to begin in September 2026, pending final budget approval. We seek highly qualified candidates with a PhD or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics or closely related field. The teaching load for this position is 4 courses (12 credits) per semester.
Requirements
- Applicants are expected to have completed a Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level is essential.
- A commitment to pedagogical innovation and demonstrated excellence in using technology in the classroom is required.
Responsibilities
- Performs such other duties, responsibilities, and activities as required by supervisor and as departmental/University needs indicate.
