About The Position

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law seeks applicants for a full-time, non-tenure-track Visiting Assistant Professor position to teach in our autonomous Research, Writing and Analysis (RWA) program. The position is available beginning August 2026. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.

Requirements

  • A Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
  • Strong writing and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate ability to teach
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate in person, in writing, and through electronic means of communication
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and utilize data in decision-making
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse group of students
  • Demonstrated ability to advise students
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a team player and collaborate with colleagues
  • Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
