About The Position

Wentworth Institute of Technology is seeking applicants interested in joining the Wentworth community for one or two semesters to teach Robotics Engineering for first-year engineering students and Electrical or Computer Engineering courses such as Digital Logic and Programming. This will be a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor position in the Douglas D. Schumann School of Engineering for Fall 2026 and/or Spring 2027, with a potential opportunity to apply for a full-time Assistant Professor position for Fall 2026. The standard load for the position is 16 credit hours per semester. Extension into the spring semester will be considered based on coursework availability, performance, and potential interest.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in the appropriate area of Engineering.
  • Valid I-9 documentation, showing work authorization and identity.

Nice To Haves

  • Ph.D. degree in the appropriate area of Engineering.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Robotics Engineering for first-year engineering students.
  • Teach Electrical or Computer Engineering courses such as Digital Logic and Programming.
