About The Position

The Visitation Coach will observe and describe interactions between family members in a non-judgmental manner. This role requires strong interpersonal skills to help families feel comfortable and welcome, while also serving as an educator, model, and observer during visits. The ability to complete concise and unbiased written reports is essential. The position also requires a valid driver's license for travel to various locations to visit families and maintain appointments. Attendance and completion of the Visiting Coaching Model training are mandatory.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must meet the requirements of the School Age Care, Day Care, and/or Mental Health Regulations regarding a State Central Register Clearance regarding history of abuse/maltreatment of children.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or Mental Health/Human Service Field preferred with 1 year working with children and families
• Associates degree in Human Services or High School Diploma may be considered with 3 years’ experience working with children and families.

Responsibilities
