The Vision Center Manager drives sales by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing, and optimal instock and inventory levels. This role involves budgeting, forecasting sales, and assessing economic trends and community needs. The manager models, enforces, and provides direction on customer service techniques to ensure customer needs and issues are resolved effectively. They oversee community outreach programs and encourage associates to be active community members. The manager ensures compliance with all Company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for the Vision Center, including asset protection, safety controls, operational reviews, and action plans for performance improvement. They provide supervision and development opportunities for associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and fostering a sense of belonging. The manager ensures the provision of quality eyewear by consulting with and educating members/customers, selecting products, obtaining measurements, verifying prescriptions, maintaining confidentiality, performing minor frame repairs, and maintaining optical equipment. They uphold the Company's Open Door Policy by meeting with associates, listening to concerns, researching issues, reviewing policies, and suggesting resolutions. The manager coordinates and oversees job-related activities by developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting initiatives, identifying goals, building accountability, measuring progress, addressing improvement opportunities, and demonstrating adaptability and continuous learning. They also ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, support the company mission, values, and ethics, and guide associates in executing business processes and practices.
