About The Position

The (USA) Vision Center Manager L3 leads the Vision Center by driving sales, managing inventory, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising and developing associates, maintaining compliance with company policies, and overseeing operational and safety standards. The manager fosters strong community relationships and implements strategic initiatives to meet business goals. By promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, this position ensures quality eyewear provision and supports the company’s mission to deliver outstanding member experiences while upholding integrity and ethical standards. The Vision Center team is dedicated to delivering exceptional eyecare services by combining expertise in inventory management, sales, and customer service. This team ensures accurate merchandise presentation, competitive pricing, and optimal inventory levels to meet community needs. Members collaborate to provide quality eyewear consultations, maintain equipment, and resolve customer concerns professionally. The team fosters continuous learning, supports company policies, and upholds high standards of integrity and ethics. Through effective communication and leadership, the team drives performance, promotes development opportunities, and contributes positively to the overall customer experience in the Vision Center.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in inventory and sales management within a retail or optical environment.
  • Strong knowledge of optometry practices, including eyewear consultation and prescription verification.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to resolve issues effectively and uphold company standards.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities in hiring, training, mentoring, and developing team members.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, forecast trends, and implement strategic initiatives to drive business results.
  • Commitment to maintaining compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Effective communication skills to build relationships and motivate associates toward achieving goals.
  • Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules.

  • Drive Vision Center sales through effective merchandise presentation, pricing, and inventory management.
  • Lead and develop Associates by hiring, training, mentoring, and assigning duties to build a high-performing team.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by resolving issues and educating Members on eyewear selection and care.
  • Oversee compliance with company policies, safety standards, and asset protection measures.
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and analyze economic trends to support business goals.
  • Coordinate community outreach initiatives and promote a positive workplace culture.
  • Utilize data insights to make informed decisions and drive continuous improvement.
