Virtual Weight Management-Full-Time- NP/PA
About The Position
Atrium Health is seeking an Advanced Practitioner to support a growing wellness hub. The hub will launch with a comprehensive weight management program and plans to expand into other wellness offerings such as sleep health and cognition. This role offers a unique opportunity for work/life balance with no daily commute, as it is a remote position. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation, a strong virtual presence, and a solution-oriented mindset, willing to think outside of the box. Advanced Practitioners will work with a care team approach to provide virtual weight management for new and established Atrium Health primary care patients. Support with multi-state licensing is also provided.
Requirements
- Experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- 3+ years of experience in Weight Management preferred.
- Obesity Medicine Certification is required.
- Strong virtual presence.
- Solution oriented and willing to think outside of the box.

Responsibilities
- Provide virtual weight management for new and established Atrium Health primary care patients.
- Engage in 34 patient contact hours weekly.
- Utilize 6 hours of admin time per week.
