Virtual Tutor - Summer 2026
About The Position
Framework is hiring Certified Tutors for Summer 2026 to provide engaging, high-quality virtual tutoring. The role involves working with small groups or one-on-one elementary, middle, or high school students in various math and ELA subjects. Tutors will deliver instruction using provided curriculum and interactive slide decks, with sessions ranging from 15 to 60 minutes on a secure online platform. This is a W-2, part-time position with no guaranteed minimum hours, paying $30/hour for tutoring and $20/hour for admin/prep time. The position is remote, requiring the tutor to reside and work in the U.S. and be certified in General Education, Math, or ELA.
Requirements
- Current, valid U.S. teaching license in General Education, Math, or ELA (expired licenses not accepted)
- Reliable computer with mic and camera, stable internet, and quiet workspace
- Ability to pass a federal background check (may include fingerprinting)
- Comfort using online teaching tools and platforms
Nice To Haves
- Additional SpEd or ESL Certification a plus
- Prior online tutoring experience preferred
- Bilingual abilities a plus
Responsibilities
- Deliver live, virtual tutoring to students in 1:1 and small group settings
- Create a safe, fun, and interactive virtual classroom
- Use provided curriculum to engage students in interactive, goal-focused learning
- Adapt instruction to meet each student’s needs
- Administer provided assessments as scheduled
- Maintain professional communication with the Framework Tutor Operations Team
