About The Position

National General, a part of The Allstate Corporation, is seeking a Virtual Total Loss Estimator/Evaluator for a remote opportunity in the Eastern United States. This role focuses on virtual total loss appraisal for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims, requiring the creation of comprehensive total loss evaluations and damage estimates. The ideal candidate will reside in the EST time zone and possess prior total loss estimating experience within an insurance carrier environment, with proficiency in CCC ONE or similar estimating software.

Requirements

Prior total loss estimating experience in an insurance carrier environment.
Hands-on estimating experience using CCC ONE or similar estimating software.
Comfortable performing evaluations in a fully virtual setting.
Residing in the EST time zone.
Must terminate all existing insurance license appointments prior to onboarding and must not hold any outside appointments at any point during employment.
Applicants seeking an adjuster role who also hold a resident producer license must formally surrender that license when instructed to by the licensing team.
Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Creating a comprehensive total loss evaluation for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims leading to the proper disposition.
Creating comprehensive estimates of damage as needed.
Demonstrates a clear understanding of various options and packages on private passenger automobiles.
Demonstrates the ability to apply the proper condition rating through standard guidelines and the CCC1 conditioning matrices.
Demonstrates sound estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses.
Applies sound understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices.
Builds functional relationships with both internal and external customers.
Processes a basic understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company.
