About The Position

As a Virtual Relationship Specialist, the role involves researching and resolving account-related inquiries via phone, email, or online services. It includes monitoring and maintaining online services like e-statements and online banking, processing daily and monthly reports, and collaborating with other departments to address member inquiries promptly. The specialist will also handle online form submissions for various products and services, process member requests received through online banking, and actively cross-sell credit union products and services while participating in marketing promotions. The position requires continuous training and education to stay knowledgeable in all service areas.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate
  • Two-year customer service experience
  • Excellent knowledge of savings, lending and online programs offered by most financial institutions
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize workload
  • Able to work without close supervision independently as well as within a team environment
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to successfully cross-sell credit union products and services
  • Thorough knowledge of account ownership and classifications, loans products, share drafts, share certificates, individual retirement accounts, Visa, Audio Response Teller, ATM's, payroll deductions, Home Banking, and ACH/direct deposit programs

Responsibilities

  • Research and resolve account related inquiries that are submitted by phone, email or online services.
  • Monitor and maintain all aspects of online services, including e-statements and online banking. Processes daily and monthly reports.
  • Work effectively with all other departments to resolve members inquires in a timely manner.
  • Pull in all online form submissions for various products and services and forward on to the proper department to review.
  • Process all member requests for credit union products and services received through online banking.
  • Take initiative to help others in all departments by supporting a group effort to provide the best member service possible.
  • Actively cross-sell credit union products and services and enthusiastically participates in all marketing promotions
  • Participate in appropriate training and receives necessary education to remain knowledgeable in all service areas
