The Business Banking Virtual Relationship Manager actively manages a portfolio of clients within the entry end of the Business Banking segment. They effectively manage the client relationship by selling and promoting a broad array of financial products and services, providing pertinent financial information to clients and identifying/referring cross-marketing opportunities to meet the clients' need and become their trusted advisor. They develop strategic relationships with Key lines of business in order to effectively refer business and leverage partnerships to deepen and enrich the client experience and increase client engagement and retention. The Business Banking Virtual RM actively engages partners to mitigate client run off within portfolio. This role involves maintaining and managing an assigned client portfolio of Business Banking Small Business clients, proactively calling on them to address service or business-related needs, and promoting and cross-marketing products and services. The manager will also make joint calls with partners, review financial statements, assess credit lines, renew loans, identify lending opportunities, and complete associated lending responsibilities. A key aspect is aggressively maintaining client retention and mitigating profitable client run-off. The role also entails managing various operational and administrative tasks to ensure client compliance and acting as a bank advocate and advisor. The position embraces a virtual team model and requires strategic management of unprofitable and/or anticipated exiting client relationships.
