Virtual Physician Associate / Physician Assistant - OR Licensed
About The Position
The One Medical Virtual Medical Team provides convenient, evidence-based virtual clinical care to One Medical patients in coordination with their primary care providers. Using advanced technology and a team-based approach, the team cares for patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This is a full-time virtual role, scheduled for 40 hours per week and including evening and weekend work. The role provides care through telehealth visits, including telephone triage, video appointments, and email follow-ups. Clinicians participate in weekly Clinical Rounds, daily team huddles, and ongoing collaboration with virtual and in-office teammates. Current shifts range from 6 a.m.–5 p.m. PST and 12 p.m.–11 p.m. PST; schedules may change based on business direction.
Requirements
- Completion of a master's degree in an accredited Physician Associate / Physician Assistant program (MSPAS).
- Maintain active NCCPA certification.
- Within the past five years, have at least two years of Advanced Practitioner experience in either outpatient primary care seeing patients of all ages (0+), or urgent care or emergency medicine seeing patients of all ages (0+).
- Hold an active license in California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, or Colorado, and be able to obtain additional state licenses.
- Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts; every other Saturday and/or Sunday is required.
- Excellent clinical and communication skills.
- Demonstrate a passion for human-centered primary care and provide care to individuals from all backgrounds.
- Effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care and demonstrate clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care.
- Be able to work as part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery.
- Be open to feedback and reflection, navigate uncertain situations confidently, and adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to patients' needs.
Responsibilities

- Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other ongoing learning activities.
- Collaborate with virtual and in-office teammates through daily huddles.
- Apply clinical training to provide exceptional virtual patient care.
