About The Position

One Medical’s Virtual Medical Team provides evidence-based virtual clinical care to patients in coordination with their primary care providers. Using advanced technology and a team-based approach, the team provides care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This is a full-time virtual role requiring 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends. The base hourly range is $59.10 to $65.50, with evening and weekend differential; starting pay may vary based on experience and schedule, and additional pay may be determined for candidates exceeding the stated qualifications.

Requirements

• Completion of a Master’s Degree in an accredited physician assistant program (MSPAS).
• Maintain an active NCCPA certification.
• Within the past five years, have at least two years of experience as a Physician Assistant in an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), or at least two years in urgent care or emergency medicine seeing patients of all ages (0+).
• Currently hold a license in AZ, CO, CA, OR, or WA, with the ability to obtain additional state licenses.
• Ability to work weekday and weekend shifts; every other Saturday and/or Sunday is required.
• Excellent clinical and communication skills.
• Demonstrate a passion for human-centered primary care and the ability to communicate with and care for individuals of all backgrounds.
• Effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care and demonstrate clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care.
• Be able to work as part of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery, receive and reflect on feedback, navigate uncertainty, and adapt behavior to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Treat patients through telehealth visits, including telephonic triage calls, video appointments, and email follow-ups.
• Participate in ongoing learning through weekly Clinical Rounds and other modalities.
• Collaborate with virtual and in-office teammates through daily huddles.
• Use clinical training to provide exceptional virtual patient care.
