About The Position

Main Line Health is seeking a Virtual Patient Safety Associate at Radnor to provide continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients who are at risk for safety issues due to their behavior. This role involves staffing the video room and completing physical rounding on admitted patients. The associate will also provide physical bedside support as a runner, rounding on units with admitted patients, setting up equipment, and supporting bedside staff. This position makes a significant difference in patient care.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or Equivalent required.
• Provider of BLS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) required.

Nice To Haves

• Related Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous observation and surveillance of assigned patients due to safety risk related to their behavior.
• Staff the video room.
• Complete physical rounding on admitted patients.
• Provide physical bedside support when functioning as a runner.
• Round on units with admitted patients.
• Set up equipment.
• Support bedside staff.
