About The Position

Globe Life AO is seeking compassionate, motivated individuals to join their team as Remote Veteran Benefits Specialists. This fully remote role involves educating veterans, union members, and their families about available life, accident, and supplemental health insurance benefits, while providing exceptional customer service and long-term support. No previous insurance experience is required, as comprehensive training, mentorship, and licensing guidance are provided. The company's mission is to protect every child and serve all working people, with a focus on promoting from within and offering opportunities for long-term career growth.

Requirements

  • Passion for serving veterans, military families, and working families.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with empathy and professionalism.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and organized.
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
  • Basic computer proficiency and reliable high-speed internet.
  • Ability to obtain any required state insurance license.
  • Be at least 18 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Provide their own computer/laptop, webcam, reliable high-speed internet, and professional remote workspace.
  • Complete required training and participate in virtual meetings.
  • Obtain the appropriate state Life & Health Insurance License before conducting licensed insurance activities.
  • Complete applicable pre-licensing coursework, examinations, and state licensing requirements at the candidate’s expense.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in military service, customer service, healthcare, education, banking, retail, hospitality, administration, sales, or community service is welcomed—but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with clients virtually using Zoom and phone.
  • Educate veterans, union members, and working families on available benefit programs.
  • Explain life, accident, and supplemental health insurance options in a clear and professional manner.
  • Recommend personalized coverage based on each family's needs.
  • Guide clients through the enrollment process.
  • Provide ongoing policy reviews, beneficiary updates, and client support.
  • Build long-term relationships through trust, integrity, and exceptional service.
  • Maintain accurate documentation while following company and state compliance guidelines.
  • Participate in weekly coaching, leadership development, and ongoing professional training.
