About The Position

Fullmind is seeking a California-certified educator to teach High School Integrated Math 1 and 2 virtually. Educators join a pool and use Fullmind’s portal to select openings that match their certification as positions become available through school and district partners. The educator teaches the school’s curriculum on the district’s virtual platform and follows the district’s calendar. Placement and immediate start dates depend on availability after the application process is completed.

This is a fully remote, 1099 independent contractor position. The stated daily rate is $200 and is negotiable and subject to change. The schedule is Monday through Friday: Monday from 1 PM to 3 PM PST for a staff meeting and math support hour; Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 8:30 AM to 1:45 PM PST; and Wednesday from 8:30 AM to 3 PM PST, including PLC time from 2 PM to 3 PM.

Fullmind partners with U.S. schools to provide students access to education by connecting them with certified educators through live-streamed instruction. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States and hold an active California Moderate to Severe teaching certification. The application process includes a virtual skills teaching demonstration and a background check. The contract does not include benefits.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must hold an active California Moderate to Severe teaching certification.
• At least 3 years of experience as a professional educator.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Laptop or desktop computer, webcam, headset, and reliable internet access.
• Participate in a virtual skills teaching demonstration and submit to a background check as part of the application process.
