About The Position

Thrivent is seeking a Virtual Financial Advisor to join their team in Dallas, Texas. This hybrid role focuses on providing purpose-based financial advice, including investments, insurance, and banking, to clients. The advisor will re-engage existing clients through virtual appointments (phone, shared screens, video) and also have the opportunity to serve their natural market. The role offers a supportive environment, a robust advice framework, and training. Within 18-24 months, advisors will be equipped to join a local team or build their own practice. This is a hybrid position requiring up to 3 days per week in the office for training and connection, with remote work on other days. Thrivent provides a strong roadmap for growth, immersive onboarding, and support as a Fortune 500 leader. For those new to the industry, up to 3 months of pay and coaching are provided during licensing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • FINRA Series 7, 63/65 or 66 required or obtained within 90 days.
  • State insurance licensed and appointed in life, health and variable lines of authority or obtained within 90 days.
  • Eligibility to be securities registered and insurance licensed in all 50 states.
  • Satisfactory background check (criminal and financial).

  • Leverage relationship-building skills and sales experience to engage clients with confidence and clarity.
  • Guide Christians and others who align with Thrivent’s mission and values to create and maintain their financial plans, enabling lives of service and faith.
  • Meet with clients virtually to provide personal, actionable, and achievable advice.
  • Connect clients to Thrivent products and programs.
  • Access and serve a large existing client base, as well as friends, family, and natural market.
