About The Position

One Medical is seeking a Virtual Family Nurse Practitioner to provide convenient, evidence-based virtual care to patients in coordination with their primary care providers. The Virtual Medical Team delivers care around the clock through telehealth, using advanced technology and a team-based approach. This is a full-time virtual role, scheduled for 40 hours per week, including evenings and weekends. Current shifts range from 8 a.m.–7 p.m., 11 a.m.–10 p.m., noon–11 p.m., and 1 p.m.–midnight Eastern Time. Weekday and weekend availability is required, including every other Saturday and/or Sunday. The work schedule may change based on business direction. The clinician will treat patients through telephonic triage, video visits, and email follow-ups; collaborate with virtual and in-office teammates; and participate in weekly clinical rounds and ongoing learning. The base hourly pay range is $59.10–$65.50, plus evening and weekend differential, based on a full-time schedule. Starting pay may vary based on practice experience and patient care schedule, and additional pay may be available for candidates exceeding the stated qualifications.

Requirements

Complete an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program and hold national certification.
Have practiced as an Advanced Practitioner within the past five years for at least two years in either outpatient primary care seeing patients of all ages (0+) or urgent care/emergency medicine seeing patients of all ages (0+).
Hold a current license in New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, or Illinois, with the ability to obtain additional state licenses.
For Illinois, hold independent practice authority (APRN-FPA).
For New Jersey, hold Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) status with Full Practice Authority and more than 5,000 hours in primary care.
Be able to work weekday and weekend shifts, including every other Saturday and/or Sunday.
Have excellent clinical and communication skills.
Demonstrate a passion for human-centered primary care and the ability to communicate with and care for individuals of all backgrounds.
Effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care and demonstrate clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care.
Be willing to contribute to a team focused on changing healthcare delivery, accept feedback and reflect on strengths and weaknesses, navigate uncertainty, and adapt behavior to meet patient needs.

Responsibilities

Treat patients via telehealth, including telephonic triage calls, video visit appointments, and email follow-ups.
Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and continue learning through other modalities.
