This position requires you to work on-site 3 times a week (Tue to Thu). Your responsibilities will also include: Create math data (models) or virtual layouts of very advanced and complex components, systems and subsystems. Application of design operations and processes (Standard modeling, Clearance Analysis, Vehicle Assembly Structure, Global Data Security, etc.). Apply Design Standards, Best Practices and Global Design infoBOOK Standards. Develop, refines, and finalizes Criteria and Typical Sections. Apply manufacturability, Design for Assembly, and integration knowledge to parts, subsystem designs and vehicle integration. Complete, analyzes and applies NX Analysis results to solution set for their subsystem / components. Support CAE with studies to improve designs. Actively participate and / or lead design / virtual reviews. You will document and maintain material, mass, and other part specifications within the Math file. Complete NX Analysis for their subsystem and apply results with support of the DLT or Senior Designer. Collaborate with engineers and designers to achieve product design requirements. Integrate component and subsystem designs into systems. Proactively communicate with Design Manager and Design Leader Technical and Design Responsible Engineer regarding project status, timing, and technical issues. Ensure high quality, on time math release of components and subsystems. Actively identify new areas for learning and take advantage of learning opportunities. Stay ahead of current product developments and trends in area of responsibility.
