About The Position

The Childcare Company and Impact Futures Group are seeking a passionate individual to join their team as a Virtual Coach Residential Childcare. This remote role involves training and developing apprentices in Residential Childcare, specifically the Children, Young People and Families Practitioner- Residential Pathway apprenticeship standard. The role is primarily remote, with occasional travel for team meetings and learner progress reviews. The company is a leading national training provider experiencing growth and expansion, offering a fun, supportive environment with a strong focus on people and culture, including regular team catch-ups, socials, and company-wide events.

Requirements

  • Minimum qualification of Level 5 in Residential Childcare/CYP.
  • GCSE grade C/4 or above in Maths & English or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of managerial/team leader experience in a residential home.

Nice To Haves

  • Assessing qualification (CAVA/D23/A1).
  • Teaching qualification (PTLLS, AET, or equivalent).

Responsibilities

  • Delivering and facilitating teaching, training, coaching, and mentoring apprentices.
  • Leading a caseload of learners to support them to achieve their apprenticeship with monthly teaching sessions using a blended delivery approach.
  • Supporting learners to achieve their functional skills level 2 in English and Maths if they do not hold these on entry.
  • Identifying and supporting learners with additional learning needs.
