About The Position
The Virtual Health RN serves as a clinical and facility-based partner to virtual care providers and hospital staff, helping integrate high-quality virtual healthcare into hospital care delivery. The role supports the day-to-day logistics of virtual health visits and services in the hospital setting. The position is on-site at the hospital while working virtually.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing.
- 3–5 years of direct nursing care experience.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license from a State Licensing Board.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from the American Heart Association.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- One year of virtual health experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide service to internal and external patients and partners by phone, electronically, and in person.
- Use written and verbal communication skills, analysis, and critical thinking to support providers.
- Facilitate communication between telemedicine providers and patients, families, and staff.
- Collaborate across teams to support virtual healthcare delivery.
- Capture data for continuous and quality improvement.
- Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to address opportunities, including providing ongoing caregiver training as needed.
