About The Position

The Virtual Health RN serves as a clinical and facility-based partner to virtual care providers and hospital staff, integrating high-quality virtual healthcare into hospital care delivery. The role supports the day-to-day logistics of virtual health visits and virtual health services in the hospital setting. The position is on-site at the hospital, working virtually from the hospital. It is scheduled for 20 hours per week, generally from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., on weekdays and every other weekend; holidays are possible. Travel is never or rarely required.

Requirements

Associate's degree in Nursing.
Three to five years of direct nursing care experience.
Registered Nurse (RN) license from a State Licensing Board.
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from the American Heart Association.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
One year of virtual health experience.

Responsibilities

Provide service to internal and external individuals by phone, electronically, and in person.
Use written and verbal communication, analysis, and critical thinking to support providers.
Facilitate communication between telemedicine providers and patients, families, and staff.
Collaborate across teams to support virtual healthcare delivery.
Capture data for continuous and quality improvement.
Partner with leadership and cross-functional teams to address opportunities, including ongoing caregiver training as needed.
