About The Position
The Virtu Latency Lab is an event where students can test their programming skills by partnering up and competing to build the most optimized solution to a real industry problem. The event focuses on how students think and problem-solve, looking for engineers who can optimize for latency, adapt to changing requirements, and collaborate effectively. Winning teams will receive a cash prize, mentorship from industry experts, and insight into the trading industry.
Requirements
- Excellent academic background in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, and Mathematics.
- Must currently be a 2nd year undergraduate student with anticipated matriculation in Spring 2029.
- Intermediate/Advanced programming experience in C++.
- Interest in a career in financial services.
