About The Position

The Virtu Latency Lab is an event for students to test their programming skills by partnering up and building the most optimized solution to a real industry problem. The event focuses on how participants think, rewarding engineers who can reduce latency, adapt to changing requirements, and improve their team's performance. Winning teams will receive a cash prize, mentorship from industry experts, and insight into the trading world.

Requirements

• Excellent academic background in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, and Mathematics.
• Currently a 2nd year undergraduate student with anticipated matriculation in Spring 2029.
• Intermediate/Advanced programming experience in C++.
• Interest in a career in financial services.

Responsibilities
