About The Position

The Vinyl Supervisor will oversee all daily workflow associated with vinyl graphics, digital printing, graphic finishing, plotting, lamination, and application preparation. This role involves reviewing work orders, artwork files, proofs, specifications, and production requirements before release. The supervisor will coordinate workflow between various departments including Engineering, MOM, Manufacturing, Paint, Assembly, and Shipping. Key responsibilities include collecting and analyzing production data for time standardization, maintaining quality control standards, managing graphics equipment, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. Additionally, the role involves hiring, training, coaching, developing, and evaluating team members, as well as supporting Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong understanding of sign manufacturing and graphics production workflows.
  • Minimum 3 years leadership experience.
  • Minimum 5 years graphics production or sign manufacturing experience.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate degree or technical certification preferred.
  • Experience with Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CorelDRAW, and Kinetic preferred.

Responsibilities
