About The Position

ASTOUND is seeking an experienced Vinyl Installer to support the production and installation of graphics for tradeshow exhibits, experiential environments, events, and branded spaces. This position is responsible for accurately installing vinyl and large-format graphics on a variety of fabricated surfaces while maintaining high standards for quality, efficiency, and safety.

Requirements

Professional vinyl or large-format graphic installation experience preferred.
Experience in tradeshow, signage, experiential, retail, or large-format graphics is an asset.
Knowledge of pressure-sensitive vinyl and wet/dry installation techniques.
Ability to work with seams, corners, curves, edges, and multi-panel graphics.
Ability to read measurements, drawings, elevations, and graphic placement information.
Experience using squeegees, knives, straightedges, heat guns, and related installation tools.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or onsite as project schedules require.

Responsibilities

Install printed and cut vinyl, decals, wall graphics, window films, and large-format graphics.
Apply graphics to painted millwork, laminate, acrylic, PVC, aluminum, glass, and other substrates.
Prepare and clean surfaces to ensure proper adhesion and finish quality.
Measure, position, align, trim, and install graphics according to drawings and production requirements.
Maintain accurate registration, seams, alignment, and image continuity across multiple panels.
Install graphics on flat, curved, dimensional, and irregular surfaces.
Identify and communicate material, substrate, sizing, artwork, or installation issues before proceeding.
Inspect completed work for bubbles, wrinkles, lifting edges, alignment issues, or other quality concerns.
Assist with graphic preparation, weeding, masking, trimming, packaging, and staging as needed.
Coordinate with other Production and Operations departments to ensure graphics are properly sequenced, prepared, and installed in alignment with project schedules.
Maintain tools and work areas and follow all ASTOUND safety and production procedures.
Support onsite and show-site graphic installation when required.
