Requirements

1 to 2 years of experience interpreting structural contract drawings
Personal computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

Bachelors degree in related field
Experience in reading architectural and structural drawings, project specifications, along with a general understanding of the construction process
Experience using SAP
Willingness to relocate to a Nucor facility or District Sales Office in the future

Responsibilities

Being a positive team member and an active participant within our culture while taking care of our customers.
Building strong, durable and loyal relationships with customers and teammates while assisting in business development efforts with steel fabricators, engineers/architects, etc.
Ensuring that the highest standards of service are maintained through professional, informative and responsive communications (written and verbal) with our internal and external customers.
Accurately estimating joist and deck requirements from contract documents while assisting in the coordination of engineering, fabrication and delivery of our products.
Upholding safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
