About The Position

This position is responsible for utilizing proper procedures and documentation for Gift Shop transactions, ensuring the bank is counted and balanced, and providing guests with information on property services. The role involves merchandising on the retail floor, receiving and inventorying merchandise (including tagging, pricing, and changing displays), and daily cleaning of the retail floor and stock room. The Village Clerk will also engage in suggestive selling, answer phones, and provide service that reflects the company culture of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation, and Recognition (S.T.A.R.). A critical function includes immediately informing the on-site IGC Agent, Security, and Supervisor on Duty of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity, as per the company's Self-Reporting Policy. Additionally, this role may involve cross-training as a Uniform Issue Clerk and performing other miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements

Previous cash handling experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Understands and complies with all company and departmental rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

Utilize proper procedures and documentation for Gift Shop transactions.
Ensure bank is counted and balanced.
Supply guests with information on services available on property.
Merchandising on retail floor.
Receiving and inventory of merchandise including tagging, pricing, and changing display of merchandise.
Daily cleaning of retail floor and stock room.
Suggestive selling to guests.
Answer phones and provide information or direct calls as appropriate.
Provide service to internal and external customers which reflects the company culture of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation and Recognition. (S.T.A.R.).
Responsible for immediately informing on-site IGC Agent on duty, Security and Supervisor on Duty of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity of which you commit, witness or become aware; must report pursuant to company Self-Reporting Policy.
May be cross-trained as a Uniform Issue Clerk.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
