About The Position

This position is responsible for utilizing proper procedures and documentation for Gift Shop transactions, ensuring the bank is counted and balanced, and supplying guests with information on services available on property. The role involves merchandising on the retail floor, receiving and inventory of merchandise including tagging, pricing, and changing displays. Daily cleaning of the retail floor and stock room is also required. The Village Clerk will engage in suggestive selling to guests, answer phones, and provide information or direct calls as appropriate. A key aspect of the role is to provide service to internal and external customers that reflects the company culture of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation, and Recognition (S.T.A.R.). Additionally, the position requires the immediate reporting of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity to the on-site IGC Agent, Security, and Supervisor on Duty, in accordance with the company's Self-Reporting Policy.

Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively with others.
Understands and complies with all company and departmental rules and regulations.

Nice To Haves

Previous cash handling experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsible for immediately informing on-site IGC Agent on duty, Security and Supervisor on Duty of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity of which you commit, witness or become aware; must report pursuant to company Self-Reporting Policy.
May be cross-trained as a Uniform Issue Clerk.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
