About The Position

Right at Home is seeking a Full Time Vietnamese Caregiver for a client in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. This role offers the opportunity to improve the quality of life for those in need while working for an experienced home-care company. The position involves providing personal care and assistance with daily living activities.

Requirements

• One Year of experience as a caregiver
• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate required
• Ability to lift and move up to 30 lbs independently
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking in English
• Must possess a Valid Driver's License and Personal Vehicle
• Successful completion of a background check
• Current TB Test
• Must be able to speak and understand Vietnamese

Nice To Haves

• CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
• Performing housekeeping activities which include vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments
• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Dementia care
• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.
