About The Position
Join the Right at Home team and make a difference in the lives of seniors and adults with disabilities in their home setting. As a Caregiver, you will provide personal care, companionship, and homemaking services to our clients, helping them maintain their independence and quality of life.
Requirements
- Ability to lift/move 50 lbs without assistance
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job
- Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
- Pass a background check
Nice To Haves
- High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred
- CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
- Provide companionship and social interaction through activities such as reading, music, puzzles, and more
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including lifting and moving clients
- Assist with medication reminders and administration
- Perform housekeeping and laundry tasks, including vacuuming, dusting, sweeping, and mopping
- Prepare meals and snacks according to client needs
- Accompany clients on errands and medical appointments
- Provide dementia care and support to clients with cognitive impairments
