About The Position

We are looking for a talented videojournalist to shoot and edit news stories, conduct interviews, and coordinate live shots with reporters. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable with video and editing equipment and have a creative vision for storytelling.

Requirements

Ability to tell stories using video, utilizing natural sound and creative editing techniques
Hands-on experience with editing software
Able to conduct interviews to get information
Must be able to lift/carry camera equipment ranging from 20lbs to 25lbs
Valid driver's license and excellent driving record
Good decision-making skills and news judgment
Applicant must have two years of experience as a news Videographer/Editor.
Have a solid understanding of news program production.
Degree in Journalism/Communications with videography and non-linear editing.
Proven experience as a digital video storyteller with strong camera and editing skills (experience with Edius is a plus).
A demo reel is required.
Strong photography skills and the ability to think creatively under constant deadline pressure.
Skilled in lighting under various conditions.
Ability to prioritize and address multiple projects with varying production timelines.
Must be a highly motivated self-starter, able to work well alone and as part of a team.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Valid driver's license.
