About The Position

The Videographer is a member of the Production Team within our Media Department at 1st Phorm. The role primarily focuses on conceptualizing, filming, and editing projects such as short films, documentaries, event recaps, advertising, and all other types of videos to be used for marketing on social media.

Requirements

  • Ability to work on site at 1st Phorm Headquarters daily
  • Must be highly competent in Adobe Creative Suite and Davinci Resolve
  • Experience working in videography and editing is required
  • Include a link to samples of your work that clearly demonstrates your professional videography experience.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Head of Production and other leaders within the Media Team to concept upcoming videos for social media platforms
  • Concept, design sets, film, and edit projects effectively and efficiently
  • Perform general maintenance and/or cleaning of cameras, sets, and equipment after shoots are complete
  • Communicate with Head of Production to ensure understanding of projects and edits
  • Organize each project assigned
  • Demonstrate high competence in Adobe Creative Suite and Davinci Resolve
  • Accept constructive criticism and accept responsibility for identifying effective solutions

  • Demonstrate proficiency with Sony camera systems
  • Demonstrate the ability to see projects through from start to finish

  • Utilize all storage and platforms used for production storage under the direction of the Head of Production
  • Develop a video’s visual style and maintain the Company’s brand & mission with the highest quality content
  • Offer creative solutions to Media Team problems and help to mitigate communication errors, ensuring there is a demonstration of professionalism throughout all facets of the process
  • Meet with Head of Production for one-on-one’s weekly, sharing concerns, complaints, feedback, and other necessary discussion
  • Perform skilled work in Adobe Creative Suite and Davinci Resolve
  • Prepping for an upcoming shoot: Storyboard and concept video project
  • Communicate with team lead for any assets needed in concept
  • Create shot list
  • Create a gear checklist
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning properly
  • Scout locations for shoot to ensure the needs of the concept will be met
  • Work with department head to create itinerary
  • Communicate with talent in storyboard process
  • On shoot days: Ensure all equipment on checklist is prepped and ready to go
  • Meet with talent to discuss plans for the day
  • Operate equipment safely and properly to fulfill the shot list needs
  • On non-shoot days/editing days: Offload all video footage to its proper place in storage.
  • Clear all camera storage once video footage it’s deposited on hard drives
  • Compile all video footage in editing program timeline
  • Construct video according to guidelines laid out in the pre production process.
  • Communicate with team lead if assets are needed from other departments
  • Shoot media needed for a variety of purpose: apparel, product, transPHORMation, HQ, workouts, Athletes, culture, and more - ensuring highest of quality images that exemplify the 1st Phorm brand and Mission
  • Attend weekly Monday company meeting at 10:30am CST
  • Meet one-on-one with the Head of Production to discuss current projects, concerns, upcoming shoots, etc.
  • Prepare any and all necessary information and equipment for weekly shoots
  • Attend quarterly Company-wide meetings
  • Be available to travel and work overnight events if applicable, as needed, including events hosted locally or at 1st Phorm HQ
  • Build Positive & Fun Relationships with the 1st Phorm community through building a personal brand on social media and engaging with the Company’s social media platforms, including new or potential customers
