About The Position

The Videographer works under the direction of the Director of Marketing & Communications and is responsible for producing high-quality video, photo and digital content that supports Goodwill Arkansas’s brand, mission, events, fundraising, training and internal communications. This role manages video projects from concept through completion, including planning, scripting, filming, interviewing, editing, formatting, publishing and archiving. The videographer also supports Goodwill Arkansas TV, YouTube, in-store radio, livestreams, social media and timely event recap content. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years related experience and/or training.
  • 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training in Management Experience.
  • Strong knowledge of video production, lighting, audio, editing, and post-production best practices.
  • Expert in Adobe Creative Suite, specicially Adobe Premier, and music and graphics licensing platforms such as Adobe Stock Images and Storyblocks.
  • Ability to tell clear, compelling, mission-centered stories for internal and external audiences.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital content trends, and platform-specific video requirements.
  • Ability to adapt content for multiple channels, including social media, web, internal communications, broadcast, livestream, and events.
  • Strong interviewing, scripting, storytelling, editing, and project coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, stakeholders, and content requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency across all content.
  • Working knowledge of video editing software captions, file management, motion graphics, and digital asset organization.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the Marketing and Communications team and internal stakeholders.
  • Professional judgment and discretion when capturing stories involving employees, clients, students, donors and community members.
  • Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with stakeholders to identify communication needs and produce compelling video content aligned with Goodwill Arkansas’s mission, brand and audience.
  • Manages video production from concept to final delivery, including planning, scripting, storyboarding, filming, interviewing, editing, formatting, publishing and archiving.
  • Captures video, B-roll, interviews, soundbites, still photography and event footage for use across social media, web, broadcast, internal communications, fundraising, training and presentations.
  • Creates and adapts video, photo and digital content in vertical, horizontal, square and other required formats, ensuring tone, pacing, messaging and visuals are appropriate for each platform and audience.
  • Produces timely event recap content and provides B-roll, soundbites and video assets to media outlets as needed.
  • Produces mission-focused storytelling content, including Gala for Good videos, Employee Appreciation Breakfast videos, Excel Center graduation videos, mission moments, social media reels, onboarding videos, training videos and other assigned projects.
  • Manages and produces content for Goodwill Arkansas TV, the organization’s internal communications platform, and Goodwill Arkansas’s YouTube channel, in-store radio programming, livestreamed video, and other digital video platforms.
  • Coordinates video subjects, talent, locations, schedules and shoot logistics in accordance with Goodwill Arkansas policies and procedures.
  • Selects, transports, sets up, operates, maintains and calibrates video, audio, lighting and photography equipment.
  • Uses Sony and Canon camera systems, lenses, lighting, audio equipment and related production tools to capture professional-quality content.
  • Edits video and audio content to ensure clarity, quality, accessibility, brand alignment and consistency with the intended message.
  • Creates titles, captions, graphics, motion graphics, animations and other post-production elements as needed.
  • Maintains organized video files, project assets, and archives in accordance with department and record retention standards.
  • Stays current on video production trends, digital tools, social media best practices and platform-specific content standards.
  • Supports social media publishing and monitoring as needed, including video, photo, and written content.
  • Assists with monitoring departmental email, Google reviews, social media messages, and digital inquiries, forwarding or alerting appropriate stakeholders as needed.
  • Represents the Marketing and Communications department in meetings and supports event-based activities as assigned.
  • Performs other related duties as required or assigned.
