You’re comfortable planning, shooting, and editing across a range of formats, from product showcases and interviews to culture pieces and event coverage. Requirements

  • 0–2 years of professional or portfolio-level videography experience (internships, freelance, or personal projects count).
  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
  • A strong portfolio that demonstrates storytelling ability, visual creativity, and attention to pacing and narrative.
  • Basic knowledge of lighting, audio capture, and camera operation in both controlled and run-and-gun environments.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Ability to work collaboratively, take creative direction, and iterate based on feedback.
  • Clear communication skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects, Photoshop, Audition).
  • Experience with motion graphics, animation, or basic 3D work.
  • A genuine interest in science, health, biotech, or mission-driven startups.
  • Experience shooting in lab or technical environments and translating complex topics into accessible visuals.
  • An appreciation for puns and contributing to a fun, supportive team culture.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content for marketing campaigns, the company website, email, social channels, and other brand touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop concepts that align with brand guidelines, messaging, and campaign goals.
  • Film a variety of content, including expert interviews, product and instrument showcases, behind-the-scenes culture pieces, and event coverage.
  • Manage end-to-end post-production workflows, including color grading, sound mixing, basic motion graphics, and final export for multiple platforms.
  • Maintain and organize video assets, footage archives, and production equipment, ensuring easy access and version control.
  • Help develop and evolve a consistent visual identity and style across all video content as our brand grows.
  • Stay current on video trends, tools, and platforms, bringing fresh ideas to how we communicate visually.
