About The Position

Local Crafts Group is seeking a part-time, contract videographer to support its Creative team as it expands video production across social, paid, and organic marketing channels. The role works across the company’s family of crafting brands, capturing authentic footage suited to each brand while meeting marketing content needs.

The videographer brings their own camera, lighting, audio, and editing equipment; edits footage into channel-ready content using Adobe Creative Suite; and works with the Creative team to translate brand tones into visual storytelling. The role is based in or around Vancouver, WA, with shoots taking place on location across Local Crafts Group’s brands. Schedule and cadence are set collaboratively with the Creative team based on content needs. Applicants should include a portfolio or website link and their preferred hourly or monthly retainer rate.

Requirements

• Own working camera, lighting, and audio equipment suitable for professional video production.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite; Premiere Pro is required.
• Include a portfolio or website showcasing video content with the application.
• Be based in the Portland, Oregon/Vancouver, Washington area for shoots.
• Be comfortable working as an independent contractor and managing equipment, schedule, and deliverables.

Nice To Haves

• Experience creating content for ecommerce or retail brands.
• Familiarity with the crafting, DIY, or hobbyist space.
• After Effects proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Shoot video content across Local Crafts Group’s brand portfolio for social, paid, and organic marketing channels.
• Bring camera, lighting, audio, and editing gear to each shoot.
• Edit raw footage into finished, channel-ready video content using Adobe Creative Suite.
• Collaborate with the Creative team to understand each brand’s tone and translate it into visual storytelling.
• Manage shoot schedules and turnaround times to meet marketing content needs.
• Adapt shooting and editing styles across multiple brands within the same production cycle.
