About The Position

Operates and supports video teleconferencing for classified and unclassified sessions, providing setup, operation, and troubleshooting of VTC systems and DVS-G facilities. This role involves supporting VTC studios, roll-about, desktop, and portable systems, and setting up VTC communications for various networks including ISDN, IP, DISA, and commercial interconnects. The technician will also troubleshoot VTC systems, maintain conference documentation, and support meetings, including after-hours sessions.

Requirements

• Minimum education, years of experience, and skills in accordance with the NUWCDIVNPT labor category description for this position and level.
• VTC operation and troubleshooting skills
• Personnel supporting the classified and unclassified network infrastructure must hold the certifications required to support the systems in accordance with SECNAV M-5239.2

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support for VTC studios, roll-about, desktop, and portable systems
