About The Position

The Video Production Specialist (VPS) will be responsible for executing production tasks associated with all three phases of multimedia production (Pre-Production, Production and Post-Production), and tracking these tasks in the PWOS. This person needs to have the knowledge and skills associated with video shoots and multiple tools associated with this field.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for performing and document results of daily production health and pre-show system checks.
  • Stays current on manufacturer suggested software/firmware levels. Monitors If an upgrade is appropriate; makes timely recommendation to the ZNA Management for approval.
  • Performs system updates as needed (software/firmware) With approval from ZNA Management
  • Adheres to ZNA’s change management process for all software/firmware version changes.
  • Participates in any and all team and production meetings.
  • Updates and maintains version control of all production SOP’s in ZNA’s team space site.
  • Participates in progressive continuous service improvement (CSI) program with engagement and oversight from ZNA Management.
  • Participates in the post-mortem efforts around identifying production/operation outcomes. If corrective items are identified, they would coordinate with the ZNA Management to drive and implement them. Reports incidents, and tracks closure of incident tickets as a stakeholder related to pro-AV and multimedia operations.
  • Responsible for Multimedia Production team compliance with timely completeness and accuracy of ZNA’s PWOS.
  • Responsible to maintain any and all operational and technical training within the ZNA Multimedia Production environment.
  • Responsible to cross-training on all equipment and operational processes.
  • Participates in post-production data backup processes e.g. (video, audio, images and project files)
  • Participates in live broadcast & webcast productions
  • Participates in the production of on-demand video and audio projects (Internal, External and Marketing Communications)
  • Provides audio visual event support
  • Meets project delivery commitment date
  • Responsible compliance and accuracy to ZNA’s PWOS
  • Participates in creative project planning meetings
  • Participates in pre-production rehearsals
  • Participates in project update meetings
  • Executes project tasks related to Post-production, live and field productions (e.g. soundboard, camera operation, technical director, control room operation lead and grip and editing)
  • Participates in production setup and breakdown
  • Participates in post-production phase (editing audio and video/graphics/motion graphics/animation) (as required)
  • Participates in video and audio file encoding, formatting, mastering and archiving
  • Stays current on manufacture suggested software/firmware levels. Monitors if an upgrade is appropriate; makes timely recommendation to ZNA Management for approval
  • Adheres to ZNA’s change management process for all software/firmware version changes, partners with the onsite AV support team for execution
  • Provides project and system performance data in support of bi-weekly and monthly reporting (as requested).
