Video Operations Coordinator, Men's Basketball
About The Position
Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics is seeking a qualified candidate for Men’s Basketball Video Operations Coordinator. This role will oversee all program video and technology operations. Responsibilities include capturing, coding, and distributing game and practice video, managing in-game video needs (live coding, bench tablets, challenges/replay support), and assisting coaches with scouting materials and video playbooks. The position also supports recruiting operations by organizing prospect film, creating graphics and highlight videos, and designing visit presentations. Additionally, the coordinator will maintain and troubleshoot program technology and equipment, and supervise/train student managers involved in video operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of relevant experience (if filled as Athletic Operations Specialist - Advanced Professional)
- 1+ years of relevant experience (if filled as Athletic Operations Specialist - Intermediate Professional)
- Equivalent combination of education and experience accepted
- PA State Police Criminal Background Check
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form
- Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check
- Valid driver’s license
- Successful completion of a motor vehicle records check
Responsibilities
- Oversee all program video and technology operations
- Capture, code, and distribute all game and practice video
- Oversee in-game video needs, including live coding, bench tablets, and challenges/replay support
- Assist head coach and assistant coaches with material for scouting assignments
- Develop and organize video playbooks
- Assist with recruiting operations by organizing prospect film, creating graphics & highlight videos, and designing official/unofficial visit presentations
- Maintain and troubleshoot all program technology and equipment, including cameras, computers, storage systems, and software
- Supervise and train student managers involved in filming and coding games and practices
- Other duties as assigned by the head coach and assistant coaches
