The Role You will be responsible for editing short-form video content across YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and others that will engage with millions of consumers. Your content will not only elevate ad performance with measurable results across our portfolio of brands, particularly FinanceBuzz. Beyond possessing a sharp creative sense and editing skills, you can bring innovative ideas that drive optimization. You can identify the potential in a video ad and elevate its tone to align with the objective.

Requirements

  • Experience using Adobe Premiere.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in cooperation with internal and external teams.
  • Deep understanding of short form content – hooks, storytelling, pacing, and strategy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven success on short form content as the editor for growing accounts.
  • Speed and clarity in communication (primarily in Slack).
  • Pay close attention to comments on all channels.
  • Experience with editing software like Abode Premiere.
  • Experience with AI like ArcAds, VEO, Nano Banana, Claude.
  • A passion for developing eye-catching, enticing creative assets to help drive consumer engagement (CTR, CPA) and positive ROI.
  • Analytical skills, basic understanding of paid advertising KPIs.
  • Staying on top of trends on the various platforms (YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook).
  • Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with an openness to change.

Responsibilities

  • Edit high-quality, UGC-style video ads for various platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
  • Contribute to Pre-packaging (title and thumbnail concepts) for your videos.
  • Record a-roll, b-roll, and other UGC style content from time to time.
  • Leverage AI to create concepts from scratch and/or to create new hooks, b-roll, etc.
