About The Position
Cultivus+ is seeking a high-output Video Editor skilled in both long-form podcast episodes and short-form content creation. This role emphasizes performance-driven content, focusing on speed, clarity, and audience retention rather than cinematic editing.
Requirements
- Must be able to do BOTH long-form and short-form editing
- Proven experience editing podcasts (30–60 min)
- Strong pacing and storytelling judgment
- Ability to identify high-retention moments
- Experience with captions and vertical formats
- Fast, reliable turnaround times
Responsibilities
- Edit 1 full podcast episode per week (30–60 minutes)
- Produce 10–20 short-form clips (30–60 seconds each)
- Cut dead air and tighten delivery for fast-paced viewing
- Identify high-impact moments and turn them into engaging clips
- Add captions and retention-focused edits for social media
- Maintain fast turnaround times: Clips: 24–48 hours, Full episodes: 48–72 hours
