Video Editor

Sunday RoboticsRedwood City, CA

About The Position

Join Us in Building the Future of Home Robotics At Sunday, we're developing personal robots to reclaim the hours lost to repetitive tasks. We're focused on an ambitious goal to make generalized robots broadly accessible, enabling households to take back quality time. We have spent the last 18 months building a talented team, securing capital, and validating our technology. We are now seeking passionate individuals to join us in the next phase of our growth. If you are ready to apply your skills to the forefront of robotics innovation, we’d love to hear from you. What to Expect As a Video Editor, you will craft the visual stories that define Sunday to the world. You’ll be responsible for the post-production of everything from short-form social clips and employee spotlights to behind-the-scenes montages and research demos, ensuring a high bar for pacing and narrative flow. You will work closely with our Video Team, Machine Learning, and Product Operations to ensure that our brand’s narrative translates into each video asset and that it resonates with our intended audiences online. This is a contact role with the potential to extend or convert to full-time.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional experience as a Video Editor or Post-Production Specialist, ideally within a high-growth startup, creative agency, or tech-forward environment.
  • A world-class portfolio or reel showcasing your ability to edit compelling narratives and demonstrate mastery over pacing, rhythm, and visual storytelling.
  • Deep expertise in the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects) or similar tools. You should be comfortable with color grading, sound design, and basic motion graphics.
  • You are organized, fast, and comfortable juggling multiple projects at once.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in After Effects or Blender to add that extra layer of polish to technical demos.
  • A genuine curiosity about robotics, AI, or hardware.
  • You understand the specific visual languages of X, TikTok, and YouTube and can optimize for engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Own the editing lifecycle—organizing footage, cutting for impact, and managing final exports across various platforms.
  • Produce short-form vertical videos (TikTok/Reels/Shorts/X) alongside longer-form content for YouTube.
  • Edit raw footage captured by our team into compelling narratives that showcase the exciting moments of building a robotics company—demos, breakthroughs, and team culture.
  • Track performance of video assets and iterate quickly based on what resonates with the community.
