About The Position

The Video Editor is in charge of editing offline and online, short-form videos and live video content for various social platforms and will serve as an internal resource to several divisions within the company. Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in editing
• Good experience and understanding of design & motion graphics
• Expert proficiency with editing software Adobe Premiere and After Effects
• Excels at color correction
• Strong understanding of capabilities and integrations with other software, such as Da Vinci Resolve, Cinema 4D, Maya, etc.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Great organization skills and effectively prioritizing tasks
• Strong collaborative skills to engage effectively with team members and stakeholders at multiple seniority levels
• Continuous desire to learn new techniques and technology
• Willing to work in the US timezone (ET - New York)

Nice To Haves

• Some experience managing other Editors & Motion Artists is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Operate in a fast-turnaround environment across editing tasks such as ingestion, categorisation, clipping and social edits
• Work with Creatives and other creative resources to craft compelling narratives and storytelling
• Create sound beds and perform basic sound mixes for edit projects
• Maintain a high bar of quality across all job duties
• Take initiative on projects to deliver new and innovative solutions, staying up to date on software advancements and the latest motion graphics techniques
• Actively add to growing skillsets to support the entire video team with current offerings and future ones
• Learn new post-production related skills to support team needs and an expanding list of services
• Work with supervisor to look for continued post-production offerings and expand editing skillsets
