About The Position

We are currently seeking a creative and talented Video Editor to join our dynamic team. This is a full-time position based in New York, NY, United States. The ideal candidate will be a passionate storyteller with a keen eye for detail and a strong technical aptitude for video editing. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into compelling visual narratives that effectively communicate our brand's story, showcase our high-quality products, and engage our target audience across various digital platforms. This role is crucial for enhancing our marketing efforts and strengthening our brand presence.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience as a Video Editor, supported by a strong portfolio of work.
• Expertise in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Solid experience with motion graphics and visual effects software, such as Adobe After Effects.
• A strong understanding of narrative, pacing, colour grading, and composition.
• Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Nice To Haves

• A degree in Film, Media Production, or a related field is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw video footage into polished, high-quality content suitable for our website, social media channels, and marketing campaigns.
• Collaborate closely with the marketing and creative teams to understand project objectives and ensure content aligns with brand guidelines.
• Incorporate graphics, visual effects, music, and sound to create engaging and impactful videos.
• Review and refine video content based on feedback from key stakeholders.
• Ensure a logical sequence and smooth flow in all finished projects.
• Manage and organise a library of video assets for current and future use.
• Stay current with the latest industry trends, editing techniques, and software to continuously improve our video content.
