About The Position

A creative and detail-oriented Video Editor is needed to support a fast-growing U.S.-based e-commerce brand. This role focuses on creating high-quality video content that drives engagement, builds brand awareness, and supports marketing and sales initiatives across multiple digital platforms. The ideal candidate has strong experience editing short-form and long-form content for social media, paid advertising, email marketing, and e-commerce campaigns. They should possess a strong understanding of visual storytelling, consumer psychology, and content that converts.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of professional video editing experience
  • Experience creating content for e-commerce brands, digital marketing campaigns, or consumer-focused businesses
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects
  • Experience editing short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and YouTube
  • Understanding of direct-response marketing and performance-driven creative content
  • Strong eye for pacing, storytelling, visual composition, and audience engagement
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with U.S.-based clients or remote teams
  • Experience creating video ads for Meta, TikTok, or YouTube campaigns
  • Knowledge of motion graphics, visual effects, and animation
  • Familiarity with DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other creative tools
  • Background in digital marketing, social media content creation, or brand storytelling
  • Experience analyzing creative performance and adapting content based on results

Responsibilities

  • Edit engaging video content for paid ads, social media, website assets, email campaigns, and product launches
  • Transform raw footage into polished, high-performing marketing content
  • Create compelling video narratives that align with brand messaging and business goals
  • Ensure videos are optimized for platform-specific requirements and audience preferences
  • Produce creative assets for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other advertising platforms
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop conversion-focused video creatives
  • Implement editing techniques that improve viewer retention, engagement, and click-through rates
  • Create multiple variations of creatives for testing and optimization purposes
  • Incorporate motion graphics, animations, text overlays, and visual effects when needed
  • Perform color correction, color grading, audio enhancement, and sound design
  • Maintain high visual standards and consistency across all brand content
  • Stay updated on current editing styles, trends, and best practices in e-commerce marketing
  • Manage video assets, project files, and content libraries
  • Maintain organized workflows and ensure timely delivery of projects
  • Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other stakeholders throughout the production process
  • Balance multiple projects while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
