About The Position

We’re looking for a creative, AI-savvy Freelance Video Editor who can turn raw footage, ideas, podcasts, interviews, and business content into high-quality, scroll-stopping videos. This isn't just a traditional editing role. We want someone who understands modern content creation, AI-powered workflows, short-form storytelling, motion graphics, captions, hooks, and social-media-first editing. If you regularly experiment with tools like CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Runway, Kling, ElevenLabs, HeyGen, Descript, OpusClip, ChatGPT or similar AI tools. We'd love to hear from you.

Requirements

• 1–3+ years of experience in video editing, content creation, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar editing tools
• Hands-on experience with AI-powered video and content creation tools
• Strong understanding of short-form content, hooks, pacing, retention, and storytelling
• Good knowledge of motion graphics, transitions, captions, B-roll, sound design, and visual effects
• Strong attention to detail
• A strong portfolio/showreel is mandatory
• Excellent communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Regularly experiment with tools like CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, Premiere Pro, Runway, Kling, ElevenLabs, HeyGen, Descript, OpusClip, ChatGPT or similar AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Turn raw footage, ideas, podcasts, interviews, and business content into high-quality, scroll-stopping videos.
• Understand modern content creation, AI-powered workflows, short-form storytelling, motion graphics, captions, hooks, and social-media-first editing.
• Create engaging Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn videos, and YouTube content.
• Work with raw footage and turn it into polished, platform-ready content.
• Experiment with new AI tools and emerging content trends.
• Deliver projects within deadlines.
• Work independently in a remote freelance environment.
• Understand creative briefs.
